Ms. Lyubov Skupova got the education as an artist designer. She worked as a decorator designer, taught the subject “special drawing” in Moscow Artistic Industrial Institute.

Now she is engaged in painting, graphics and decorative applied art. Lyubov Lenidovna is taking part in international and local exhibitions.. There are many publications in Russian and foreign press and catalogues. There are many of her works in private collections in Russia and abroad.

She is awarded with a number of certificates and diplomas of Russian and foreign exhibitions and competitions; as well as with the Order of the Catherine, the Great, of the Third Rank.

Ms. Lyubov Skupova is a member of the following organizations:

the International Artistic Foundation;
the Russian Artists’ Association in Paris;
the Moscow Designers’ Union;
the corresponding member of the ASLEI (the Academy for the Safety and Law Enforcement Issues of the Russian Federation), IASBI (the International Academy for the Science and Business Integration).

Lyubov Skupova:

"The everlasting life progress makes me really excited. But my task is not to make a reportage, but seek and find a poetic disclosure of the universe. I believe that the composition plastics might not be deprived of the monumentality and decorative expressiveness. Hence, the well thought selection of the artistic means of expression. These targets also demand certain artistic techniques. My pictures are meant for the domestic interiors. I believe that the artistic work should be, first of all, beautiful. Everything is important here - color, texture, composition. I am using many modern materials in my art alongside with the traditional ones, as well as gold, silver, copper, rhinestones and cabochons (non-cut stones). Even if I am painting somebody’s portrait, I am trying to unite the theatrical grotesque and poetic reality. Every work of mine shall contain a philosophy, secret, poetry, my personal attitude to the world."
